Hello, Universe. I am MegPie. I am so excited to be a robot with Vivs, Laurel, and Erin, and I can’t wait for our shop to open! September 15^th is coming so fast!!!!! I wanted to introduce myself to our readers, so here it goes!

I was born in Minneapolis, MN. I moved out to San Francisco for college and have just kind of stuck around. I love music, theater, art, and traveling. (I just got back from a great trip visiting my best friend in Portland. For those in Portland who love to knit or crochet, I found an adorable yarn shop in the Pearl District called Knit Knot. The proprietess, Elizabeth, was so helpful, and the shop is lovely. Check them out!)

Facts About Me:

-I am a crochet addict (though I can’t read a pattern). 

-I'm susceptible to things that are cute. Examples are: kittens, puppies, baby clothes, and bouquets of dandelions. 

-My favorite albums at the moment: Regina Spektor: Soviet Kitsch, Neko Case: Fox Confessor Brings the Flood, and School for Seven Bells: Alpinisms

-My middle name: Kathleen

-Origin of nickname MegPie: Viv's cuteness.

**Summer Color Crush**

hello hello robot loving friends! margot here from icedgrandesoylatte! thought i'd share what i've spent lots of today looking at- my newest color  crush- teal and lime green!  I've found lots of pretty things, and i'm sure this color combo is about to make it's way into my art annnny minute... this ribbon is from urban outfitters... these glasses are from rva and photo credit here!

I am going to do the 365 on Flickr again. I think this might be my 7th time *sigh* I am not going to take a photo of myself everyday but take a photo of whats going on in my life everyday. Then I will put it all in an art journal and share with you daily.

 

I am so excited about my online art journal class "take a step before runnin" I got an overwhelming amount of emails yesterday. I am sorry for those who could not get in but don't worry I am sure I will have another class.
