Hey everyone! I'm JenCoen and you can usually find me HERE! I am so excited to be a guest robot today! hehe, I'm all giddy inside! ;-)
Over the weekend, I needed to get a piece of fabric embroidered for Janel's Quilt Giveaway. Well, I've never embroidered anything, ever. So, there was no time like the present to learn. I was totally amazed that over two days I was able to learn enough to make this...
I can't hardly wait to do more! I'm hooked!! I found the best information and inspiration, and I thought I'd share it with you.
Needle 'N Thread was suuuuuper helpful with all the video tutorials (I think I watched just about every one... lol)
Feeling Stitchy is full of really great inspiration. A few of my favorites featured over there are
Stitched by Rachel Denbow
Stitched by Georgia McDonald
Stitched by Kleio's belly
Flickr has tons and tons and tons of embroidery groups and patterns! I can't wait to get started on these
From Sublime Stitching
from Pimp Stitch
from True Love
And, as always Etsy has the most adorable embroidery stuff like
from MetroStation
from Miniature Rhino
from Bobetsy
from HAREandDRUM
from Punkin Patch Crafts
Thanks for lettin' me share and feel free to stop by my Blog and say hi! :-)

Wow! I can't believe that is your first embroidery! It looks great! I tried once and it looks terrible! Thanks for the resources for tutorials. I really would like to get into embroidery!

Oh, I just might have to embroider a square for Janel's quilt as well! How exciting!
P.S.) If anyone wants the shoe pattern, it's offered free on the Pimp Stitch blog (it's by one of our guest authors, Nicole Vasbinder). We've got a few more free patterns and tuts there as well ;)
